Introduction to Local News Analysis

Having looked at a series of National news stories and analysing them, I'm now going to look at Local news stories to see if they contain the 5Ws and similar news values to the national news.

For my full five minute extract I am going to be creating a local news station, so it is important to see if local news stories contain the same or similar elements to national news stories, such as the 5Ws and news values. I will be looking at news articles from the local section on BBC news online and local newspapers.
