As I suspected both News Bulletins were dominated by stories with the news value
Familiarity. Although BBC Cornwall did mention a news story taking place in Sussex, which implies it was a big news story , as local radio station don't often have stories outside their local region.
Although local radio station news bulletins often have national news stories, I think the majority of stories will be about the regional area of which the radio station is based.
This is something I will need to consider while writing my own news stories.
